Each Year 3 class had a wonderful half day at the RSPB nature reserve at Fowlmere, when they went pond dipping.

In a lovely tranquil setting the children found all kinds of small organisms : dragonfly and mayfly nymphs, water louse, waterboatman that swim upside down, beetles, snails and many others, as well as seeing dragonflies and hearing cuckoo's and chiff chaffs.

The pupils were complimented on their interesting questions and good behaviour by the staff, and their sense of wonder was a pleasure to see. Well done Year 3!
